Arrest of illegal excavators, control of vehicles including driver.

Nuwakot. Police have started action against those who illegally excavated riverine materials during the rainy season in Nuwakot.
The District Police Office, Nuwakot has taken under control two Eicher vehicles including the driver for illegal excavation. According to the District Police Office, Nuwakot, they were released on Monday night while they were illegally excavating and loading sand in Likhu River in Likhu Village Municipality-3.
Necessary action has been taken against those released, said Nuwakot Police Chief and Superintendent of Police Tulavahadur Karki. Meanwhile, the driver of a excavator involved in illegal excavation of riverine material has been taken under control from Ghumaune of Kakani village. The arrested have been sent to the District Coordinating Committee’s office in Bidur for necessary action, police said.
