Indian pilgrims reach Humla for Mansarovar-Kailash Darshan (Photo Feature)

Simkot. Indian pilgrims have started coming to Simkot in Humla for Mansarovar-Kailash darshan. After a year, religious tourists have reached Humla from Limy, Lapcha of Northern Namkha Rural Municipality-6 of Humla for the darshan of Mansarovar-Kailash.

Last year religious Satguru performed Mansarvar Kailash darshan from Limi Lapcha in Humla, this time also 1,400 Indian citizens are expected to come along with Satguru. Namgyal Tamang, Chairman of Humla Industry and Commerce Association, said that since the Hilsa border route with China was not opened due to the corona virus, Indian pilgrims came to see Mansarovar Kailash from Nepal because it would be easier to visit Mansarovar Kailash from Limy Lapcha of Northern Namkha Rural Municipality of the district.

Indian pilgrims have started coming for the second time to the Tibetan region of Humla, which has been deserted for 2 years due to covid-19. Due to corona virus, Indian pilgrims started visiting from Limy Lapcha in Humla when the Hilsa border crossing was closed. Vijay Lama informed that the Indian pilgrims who reached Humla via Kathmandu, Nepalgunj, from Simkot Airport, are prepared for Mansarovar Kailash darshan at Lapcha in Limi, as well as a panoramic view of the Limi Lapcha Valley.

After starting to reach the district through airplanes from Kathmandu, the tourism professionals have started preparing by fully following the health standards to avoid corona infection. After the darshan and puja of Mansarovar Kailash can be done from Nepalese land Limi Lapcha, a team of Nepalese cooks and guides have reached the district for Indian pilgrims. So far 43 businessmen have reached Simkot and 12 more are preparing to come. In the first phase, cooks, guides and materials have arrived in Simkot.

On Tuesday, 56 Indian pilgrims have reached Simkot and an Indian team of 1,400 including Indian Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev is going to come to Humla. Camp at Lekdhinga in Humla A camp has been set up at Lekdhinga of Namkha Rural Municipality-1 for religious tourists who visit Mansarovar Kailash from Nepali land Lapcha.

Chairman of Namkha Rural Municipality Prem Lama said that the camp was set up after religious tourists coming from Kathmandu via Nepalganj to Simkot prepared to go to Lakedhinga by foot. The lama informed that a camp has been set up with tents to accommodate 150 tourists in Lekdhinga. According to the operation of Vijay Hotel, Vijay Lama, it is arranged to use a vehicle from the camp in Lekdhinga to Tumling to Lapcha. He informed that 12 Bolero jeeps in Simkot have been booked for that. After Sadhguru’s journey, other religious tourists are also preparing to visit Mansarovar Kailash from Lapcha.
