Kathmandu. Two policemen have been charged in connection with the death of a detainee in Dhanusha. The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) has been shifted to the State Police Office while a jawan has been suspended in connection with the death of a detainee in the custody of the District Police Office, Dhanusha.
Biltu Ravidas, 42, of Laxminiya Gaonpalika-2 of the district was found hanging in the toilet of the detention cell last Friday.
The district court had ordered the release of Ravidas, who was arrested in a case of killing and mutilation in a dispute between two brothers, on Rs 200,000 bail.
